Quiche Lorraine and an incredible lamb's lettuce salad with fngerfood tomatos. Yummie! My lunch from MacBabes' gourmet kitchen was a smashing success!
Time to get read for a night out with music, awesome weather (25°C, not a cloud in the sky) and some cold drinks. Non-alcoholic for me please!
....rowing! ;-) Actually, not going rowing tonight, but another one of those festivals. This time without marks men and without all that liquor! No drinking for Babes! Today is the first day where I am feeling halfway decent since catching this virus. Not going to ruin my recovery!
This morning, meeting at 8 o'clock for breakfast was fun. The weather is still fantastic and we enjoyed all the goodies while sitting outside in the sun. Plans are to make this a saturday habit. All of us, when possible, having breakfast together! Sounds good to me! Eight people that have one thing in common...all crazy.....sitting together, eating good food and talking a bunch of crap! ;-)

Ive been sick since last week and by God, I cant stand to be at home anymore. I am going back to work tomorrow, come hell or high water. Not working, just staying home, laying around is really nothing for me.
My sick note and my referal to the pulmonary specialist for my suspected asthma. Ugh...
....since saturday I keep experiencing fever attacks, sore throat, a bit of an upset stomach and body aches. Today, I am not going in to work....going to see my doc and get something to make me feel better quickly.
Spirits are up though...the other spirits, I plan on leaving alone for some times. Im too old to be drinking as much as I did last week. ;-)
Champions League final game tonight in Munich's Allianz Arena. This stadium is huge, massive, impressive and beautiful. Wish I was there....

I think those crazy brits are trying to invade Diepholz!! They are known for wanting to take over the world. Actually, its the local airport hosting the FSC Muenster ( http://www.fallschirm-muenster.de/).
I can see them jump out of the plane...no wait, correction. I actually cant see the plane or the helicopter (they use both). But I can hear them and then all of a sudden, tiny black dots appear in the sky. All this while I am sitting on my balcony.
The marksmen festival didnt just give me a lapel for attending...nope, I am sporting a fever and a sore throat. Yesterday I was still hungover and when I got to work, I almost fainted when I smelled some of the stronger cheeses. Since it was slow, I was able to leave early. Came home, ate a light dinner and off to bed. This morning, woke up with a slight fever again. But didnt feel too bad. Worked from 8 til 12...and when I was finished, I thought I wasnt going to make it home. I felt weak, out of breath, burning up with a fever. After storing the few groceries I bought, I went straight to bed and slept for 3 hours. I feel so so right now. But hopefully by monday I will be okay again. Then its back to work for Babes!
That is, if the Brits dont creep up to my place tonight and kidnap me....oh oh!
